About
Muslim Mom Collective was created with one simple goal:
To help Muslim moms find community.
Motherhood can be beautiful, but it can also feel lonely. Many of us spend our days caring for everyone else while longing for meaningful friendships, encouragement, and moments of connection.
Muslim Mom Collective exists to change that.
We bring Muslim mothers together through thoughtfully planned events that encourage conversation, laughter, creativity, and lasting friendships.
From coffee meetups and park playdates to workshops, seasonal celebrations, and family outings, every event is designed to create a welcoming space where moms can connect both with one another and with their children.
Our community is built on kindness, inclusivity, and sisterhood. Whether you’re new to the Bay Area or have lived here for years, you’ll always have a place with us.

Meet the Founder
Assalaamu Alaykum! I’m Sana.
I’m a wife, a mom to two amazing boys, and the founder of Muslim Mom Collective.
Like many moms, I found myself wishing there was an easy way to meet other Muslim moms who were looking for friendship and community. I wanted a space where we could get together regularly, support one another, and create meaningful experiences for ourselves and our children.
When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to create it.
“There’s something special about walking into a room where everyone understands the joys and challenges of motherhood. A place where conversations feel effortless, children become friends, and strangers quickly become familiar faces.”
What started as a simple idea has grown into a community that continues to remind me how much we all need one another.
That’s the feeling I hope every mom experiences when she joins Muslim Mom Collective.
Our Vision
Today, Muslim Mom Collective is just the beginning.
My dream is to build a community where Muslim moms everywhere can find connection, encouragement, and lifelong friendships—a place where no mom has to wonder if she belongs.
I envision a community that grows beyond local events into something that supports mothers through every season of life. A place where women can learn, grow, celebrate milestones, navigate challenges together, and raise the next generation surrounded by love, faith, and community.
Because when moms are supported, families thrive.
And when families thrive, our communities become stronger.
Whether you’re new to the area, a first-time mom, raising teenagers, or somewhere in between, there’s a place for you here.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to meet you and continue building this community together, insha’Allah.
With love,
Sana Khan
